That's because;

a) There are more brunettes than the other two put together
b) You live in a S European country where brunette is the most common hair colour.

Interesting fact; both blonds and redheads are genetically recessive, so they're slowly being wiped out.

I pass because you could be seeing an unnatural hair colour, and anyway...hair is not very important to a relationship, it might get you noticed but it won't maintain it.

I don't think blond and red haired people are being "wiped out". Dark skin is dominate, but there are still TONS of pale people on this planet.

ANd besides, many brunettes carry recessive blonde or red haired traits, resulting in say, me, light haired child of two darker haired parents.

Anyway, I, having had all three hair colors, have found that different types of men like certain hair colors.(of course there are always exceptions...)

Naturally I'm blonde, and when I have my hair blonde, I tend to attract....wiggers (white guys who think they're black) and just all around creepy people....when I had brown hair, I kinda....blended into the crowd and didn't attract too many people at all!! :( But with black hair (which I have now) I attract a nice alternative type of guy... :grin:

So, overall, I think the best type of men prefer darker hair.....but....then again, generalizations can OFTEN be mistaken!

:( this thread makes me sad because i don't have a hair color!!!!!! no one can ever decide if my hair is brown or blonde. it gets very sad at time, i feel like i don't have an identity. :-(

:lol: just kidding, i like my hair! i would rather have red, though... perhaps one day i will just up and dye it cherry red one day!

that's true about me what you said about yourself, devinci, that you got lighter hair from darker haired parents. my mom has brown hair and my dad has black hair (or did... now he's graying/almost bald ;-) ) my hair is definitely much much lighter then either of theirs.

as for guys, though... most of the guys at my school don't really seem to care. i know guys that have gone out with every hair color (and along with that, every skin color) so it doesn't really seem to make much of a difference.

Here in Brazil, there arnt too many blonds and red heads. They are mainly brown or black, yes, because of the genetically recessive gene. However, many girls here like to dye their hair blonde, so you do see many blondes but its not their natural hair color. To answer the question, I really dont care, I voted brunette since IM more accustomed to it, but i dont care.

Actually, that's my original colour - non-descriptive - people usually call it dirty blond (which I hate, my hair ISN'T dirty!). So I used to lighten it a bit into blonde, now I've changed it into brown and... I haven't really noticed different reactions from men. Some prefered it as short blond, others as long brown (which I have now).

I don`t think the hair colour matters really. My hair is kinda like pinky`s I guess, not blonde, not brown, not even brunette, cause it`s lighter than that. I think some people call it ash blonde, that sounds as boring as it is :lol:
By the way, my whole family has dark brown hair and dark eyes, I`m the only one with (nearly) blonde hair and blue eyes. My siblings always tease me, they say mum must have had a little affair with the postman. :o
