rik mayall as peeves???

Hey, I'm reading this book called "Muggles and Magic," that basically is a commentary on all sorts of aspects regarding Harry Potter.

One thing it has is a cast list for the first three movies. In the Chamber of Secrets cast, Rik Mayall is credited for playing Peeves the Poltergeist.

Am I crazy, or have I just missed the scene where Peeves is shown? I looked online, and all I found was a note on a fan site back in 2001 saying that it's included in the deleted scenes, but I don't remember ever seeing that.

I'm confused.

(I actually care about this because... well, first, I really like the character of Peeves, and in my fantasy cast, Rik Mayall is Mundungus Fletcher... )

i have that book as well and i was puzzled!!!!!

i don't ever recall seeing peeves in the deleted scenes of CoS either!!!!

Hmmm... very odd...

By the way, are you enjoying that book? I think it's okay, but it's very biased (as in EVERYTHING about Harry Potter is great and wonderful) and it seems to have just been thrown together as a kind of money-making scheme.

I had to laugh out loud when the author talks about Daniel Radcliffe's extraordinary acting talents...

yep...like you said it is extremely biased! afterall nothing is perfect! the piece about dan radcliffe's acting abilities also made me laugh! although some parts make an interesting read!
