I am so glad to hear that you and Helen aren't in danger of losing Anya to her female puppy dog of an aunt anymore. *grin*

I'll continue to pray for you, Helen, Anya and Helen's mother. Keep your chin up, from everything you've told us of Helen, and from posts she's made, I can tell she's a very strong lady. You'll get through this.

Take care (not just of everyone else, but yourself, too). :-)

thankyou all so much
i am being strong
and so is she
the doctors wont give us a clear date for when she'll be allowed home yet but she is concious most of the time

yesterday when i got to the hospital she had a soliciter there and she has had a document drawn up to state that if anything happens to her and even whilest she is unconcious that anya is in my charge and i am her guardian. miram (helens mum) signed it as well. it also states that under no circumstances should niamh be allowed custody of anya.

thanks guys

Yay Barry! :-) I'm so glad you guys got that taken care of, and that you have the blessing of her mom, too (if, God forbid, something did happen to Helen, it's nice to know that Anya's grandma is fine with her staying with you).

yeah its good. i think miram would have liked anya to be with her, but she is ill herself and she doesnt htink anya should move.

helen is getting a bit better every day i think. she is still going unconcious a little from time to time but the scans on her brain keep coming back clear so its looking better.

heres hoping for the future

thankyou guys

That just means she's in the perfect place to be a great grandma! Seriously, my mom and dad and stepmom would probably feel the same way, but then they wouldn't have the opportunity to spoil my boys and dote on the grandbabies. There's a big difference there. :-)

I hope this all means that Miram will want to be an active part of her granddaughter's life, even if they live kind of far apart.

I'm glad everything is working out. You guys need a little peace and quiet. First your mother and now her accident maybe you should lie low for a while and rest!
Good luck to Helen on her full recovery! :-)
