Weasley and Dudley's ongue musn't be cut!!!!!! that's scene is a legend!!!
A new director again? Really? that's kind of good :o cause every HP movie will be different than the other, but it's kind of bad too :o

I think PoA wasn't just funny - it had serious parts too. And I thinkg GoF is a quite dark book so the movie won't be hillarious - but there will be some funny parts.

Maybe they'll cut the scene where Diggory dies  - maybe the director won't find that important

I think the ball will be cut... it seems unnecessary for overall plot continuity.

Some - perhaps, but the book is too huge. They will have to cut stuff out to make it into a nicely paced movie ^^

But if the Yule Ball is cut, how are they going to show the crush Harry had for Cho and his disappointment when Cedric got Cho as his partner.

I have to read the book again - i dont remember what happened in what book. But, wasn't that big match with Violas (i dont know how it was spelled) and fake money and stuff in the 4th book? May be they will cut alot of that out.... and Winky (sp??) they will prob. cut her out too :(

the only thing important at the yule ball is that they find out hagrid is half giant. that kind of shows what will happen soon.

As much as I hate to say it, it is quite possible that they will cut both the Dursley's and the World Cup out. The only thing of great significance that happens there is meeting Krum and they could introduce him at the school when you first see Fleur.
