Yeah, the Great Hall is back!!!

Sorry about the spoiler though...cos my friend told me about 12 kingdoms (she didn't go into the details) but my first thought was...it must be a damn confusing anime

US$35 for 2 DVDs...I can get it for around US$23+ with more than 10 episodes (definitely!) complete with jap dialogue and eng subtitles...

I read comments on Sailor Moon Live Action...most say it is good and funny for the civilian forms...and I could picture the fighting/dance sequence being a super doper No-No
Oh well, I love their civilian forms anyway!

Haha...I want ANIMAX...it costs an additional S$4 (US$2.50) for cable subscribers like my family...and it's 24 hr non-stop anime!!!!! Arghhhhh...why isn't it coming to Singapore!!!!

Though it is cheaper here, I'm spending a lot on anime and manga as well. Right now, I am chasing after 5 series...(Rave, Zettai Kareshi, Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden, Sakura Taisen, Tokko Devil's Awaken)
And I can't believe FY is taking so long :o

did u download any yet? ^-^

Im still waiting for the Escaflowne movie and 2 dvds of Twelve Kingdoms....lol, i wonder ....if underpaid for them will I even get them this month? o_o

$2.50 - thats very cheap ^^'
ANd u prob. are spending lot and lots of money on manga. 5 series - that is alot. THe only manga series I pursued was Sailor Moon. I can not tell u how expensive that was ($10 per book times many many books). =D

Speaking of manga - i fond a website where they scanned in some manga books and actually translated them (changed words in bubbles to english)!! Also through bittorent ^^

Haha...luckily I have a 80 GB memory space, but downloading them takes far too much time :-?
Downloaded 1 episode of SMoon and a SuperS special ever since I learnt how to use it... :o wow, that is quite a long time spent eh...

Well, the series I'm chasing are released up to vol 2 or 3 at most...still not complete but that's all...except for the super doper long running Rave (or anime title: Groove Adventure Rave) To tell you the truth, I am pretty bored about the way this story is heading...there are far too much side adventures :x it is already vol. 25 and going  and I have bought like erm 14 vol...

I prefer reading manga in its book form because I can stop & continue anytime I want and it is less taxing on the eyes

oh no way! u have book format of manga? cool!!! There has been soo many mangas that I wished they would just release as a story!!! (so instead of 102 books full of picks I could read 2-3 books with just a story in it.)

Have u heared of Kaleido Star?

HUH :o You mean the manga in US doesn't come in book? Then what? Pieces of manga strips??? Oh I get it, it comes in magazine format...a thick manga magazine that consists of many mangaka works, each having 30 pages or so, instead of 100 over pages worth of storyline.
Am I right?

Kaleido star...erm nope, I never heard of it.

lol

I mean, It comes as a graphic novel....like comic. ANd not as just text.

Yesterday I went to the book store, went up to Manga section and was schocked o_o' it was like full of all sort of new manga!!!

Alice 19, Mink, Aria, Orion - lots of nice books. But um...then I turned it over and looked at the price ($10) and put it all back -_-'

Text?!?!? Wait a minute...when did I ever said my manga comes in text form...I just said mine was binded in a book format, not in text format. Downloaded manga comes in a form of computer formatted pages...unless you print it out and let it become pieces of paper...
 it seems like both of us mistook each other meaning...

But there are such manga magazines around, in japanese, not english or any other language that I know of...

So pieces of paper is the option you have got

LOL ^-^

You know, in japan manga alot of times comes out not with pictures, but just text (like there are 2 formats for it i guess)

Like they have a pic on the cover and then u open it and there are no pictures, just text. I know, cause in the stores here that ship manga directly from Japan they have lots of books like that. o_o'

Magazines - yeah, I know what u r talking about. I had a 6 month subscription to Nakayosi magazine. It was awsome, it arrived straight from Japan and they would ship it here actually before it comes out there ^-^. Of course I have no clue what those mangas were about cause I cant read them <_<' and everyone in my family gave me stares ....cause Nakayosi is not for someone my age (u dont have to be Japanese to realize that)..... lol but it was fun!!! esp furoku.

I know Im strange.....^^

Hehehe, since you mention 12 kingdoms Mint.. what episode do you have right now?? I only have up to 18(dual language). There are 47 episodes out, but not in dual language. 12 kingdoms is really good. Have a great theme to it. Mint i feel sorry for you to have to buy them, but watch out some might be bootleg. Dang where do you get those money from? U have a money tree or something?

Groove Adventure Rave is starting to show on cartoon network.... wish i have time to watch :???:

There is this really good comedy/romance anime coming out. It's called cheeky angel.. Some guy got turned into a girl and have to live a life as a girl for 6yrs. Very funny!

Groove Adventure Rave has 52 episodes which is ultra draggy O_o
And it doesn't have a proper ending...are you sure you want to watch that, HuffleDuck? Or else, you will end up like me collecting the manga series which runs forever!!!
