Favourite Quote?

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

I love this one:
Hermione: They'd never have set a task that was undoable!
Ron: They have. Harry, go down to the lake tomorrow, right, stick your head in, yell at the merpeople to give back what ever they've nicked and see if they chuck it out. Best you can do, mate.

It gets me in stiches!

I like the part in the first book when Hagrid comes to give Harry his letter at that miserable little cottage on the rock, and gives Dudley a pig's tail:

"Meant ter turn him into a pig, but I suppose he was so much like a pig anyway there wasn't much left ter do."

Hehehe...I also like a lot of other quotes, but I'm too lazy to look them up now.

"You need to be prepared. You need to be alert and watchful. You need to put that away, Miss Brown, when I'm talking."

I also like Snape's speach at the first lesson and the scene where "Hermione Granger was on the edge of her seat and looked desperate to start proving that she wasn't a dunderhead". She is so very much like me sometimes!

'I shudder to think what the state of my intray would be if i was away from work for five days.'
'Yeah, someone might slip dragon dung in it again, eh, Perce?' said Fred.
'That was a sample of fertiliser from Norway!' said Percy, going very red in the face. 'It was nothing personal!'
'It was,'Fred whispered to Harry, as they got up from the table. 'We sent it.'

thats one of my favs!

These are some of my favorites, despite the fact that they're total Snape-bashing sentiments (but then again, what else would you expect from the Marauders?):

[i:n9ajbllv]"Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other people's business."

"Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git."

"Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor."

"Mr. Wormtail bids Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball."[/i:n9ajbllv]

The funniest one, though, has got to be the one about Percy and the dancing joke. I laughed my head off for days after I read that one!

I like the one where Ron says....
"Dont talk to me I want to fix that in my mind forever... 'Draco Malfoy, The Amazeing Bouncing Ferret!" I was reading that in class at school one day and everyone was quiet working and I just started laughing. In the middle of class! It was hard to stop laughing! I probably have more but this is all i can think of for now.!
