Well, I sketched it and then tried to "trace it" into computer with graphic pen - which was just silly, so I had to redraw 50% of the image on the computer (that took hours).

I used Photoshop 7.

i dont know  It does though... Its just when u draw with a graphic pen its not the same as a regular pen. Like u have to push on it with the same force all the time, and thats just not how we write things.

Plus I had to turn my hand inside out for it, and u r writing things on ur tablet but u r looking someplace else (on the computer screen).

But then again may be Im just dumb and doing it wrong ^-^ =D

Wow!! That picture is really quite amazing..specially if its a first attempt

I know what you mean with the tablet and mouse drawing....I got quite good using my mouse and an oekaki website, then i went home for the summer and there was no point even trying because of the internet connection and the home computer's mouse so i didnt bother for 3 months and came back to uni with a brand new tablet completely unable to draw with it because i can no longer coordinate what i see on the screen with what i do with my hand and it drives me mad....you know what you want and its easy as writing your name when you do it in pencil but try and try for abslutely hours and you just cant get the tablet to reproduce it on the screen....

plus i dont have a program to draw with....the website i used to use is useless now.

Sonkem, I see it everywhere - what is oekaki board??? Cause I see everyone saying they "used oekaki board" What is it? And it looked like they give u a limited time using whatever it is.

But yeah!!! Its very "weird". U have to train urself I guess.... I had to zoom in to 200% to draw lines sort of straight....but then u can only use that for tracing and it takes forever.

Hmmm....there is a kind of tablet pc. A notebook (laptop) that is just a flat screen like a tablet...(I dunno if I am describing it well  )

So basically, you can write on that screen itself. And it can even format the writing back to pc fonts...(well maybe I made that function up by myself, but I read it somewhere on a newspaper)

Ta-da you can look at what you are writing/drawing...
Oh, one thing! The price...hehe

Mint I used to use this oekaki board

http://bakaneko.unixdaemons.com/oekaki_menu/

the junior/kouhai room to be precise

http://bakaneko.unixdaemons.com/kouhai/index.php

but as you can see they went into overdrive on rules and its no longer a nice place to go plus they limit the picture size so you can only draw small pictures....

Thanks Sonkem - I copied a link so I will check it out at home!

Choki - yes, Im aware of Tablet PCs, but I have a brand new laptop so it would be pointless for me to buy a new PC. And of course - the Price  I mean if my tablet was sooo pricy I can only imagine what PC would be like o_o

Meroko Picture

I attemped to draw a pick for Full Moon anime. :) Well - the only similarities between my pick and the anime character is the 2 curls next to her face and the fact that she has ears ^^' ....thats about it....
