I think it is LU-pin not lu-PEEN, it sound very stupidly...And as I said before, it is Her-mi-o-ne, LU-pin, Si-ri-us and Le-strange when they translated in greek.....

I always pronounced Lestrange in a french way.. ie not strange as in the word "strange", but rather as the "-strang" in Durmstrang. But I guess not everyone prononces Durmstrang as I do either... sigh

Well - you could look it up in Goblet of Fire Hermione tries her best to teach Krum - kinda hopeless in the end - but a good way to learn it... I would say its like Her-My-O-Knee; all pronounced in British English and "My" is the stressed syllable.
