Yep, according to the latest release, JKR has joined the group of world billioinaires. Not bad for an author with less than ten books in worldwide publication.

i think she deserves it but i reckon she could donate a lot of it cos how can you spend a billion pounds in a life time with the other 3 book s not even out yet so she will get even more from them :o

In relative terms, the queen isn't all that rich. She's only got a couple of hundreds of millions :-?.

Other books still do well you know. HP books come out only once i a year or more, and most of the people read them within a day or week or so :grin:
