What do you think butterbeer will taste like?

Well, it's all in the title really.

I personally think it won't taste like real beer at all, it's supposed to be warm and sweet and not cold and bitter

Maybe the one beverage that will come close is Baileys...it's really sweet, creamy and it will sure warm you up .
I don't think butterbeer will contain alcohol...although, it knocked Winky out...well anyway what do you think?

This is a recepi for butterbeer

Ice Cream Whipped Butter Cider
- Melt the ice cream. Then whisp in a little bit of whipped butter to soften mixture. Add some warm cider to it, and it is ready to serve. Daniel Radcliffe enjoyed this when he had it on the show. =)

I think its some sort of Root Beer with some butterscotch in it as well. I also think its got the same feeling of warmthness as drinking wine. I dunno, its how i would think it would be like.

I am pretty is tastes pretty good, they do down the stuff with great zeel. They seem to drink it by the gallon, when its available. What sounds interesting is Pumpkin Juice, might have to find a recipe.

I found some recipes for both.

Butterbeer- Rootbeer with butter and melted vinilla ice cream

Pumpkin Juice- You bake a quarted pumpkin and just it though a juicer. Then you are apple juice until thinner the origanally, then add huney to taste and serve over ice

Mmmm this topic is making my mouth water! I think it would taste really lovely and creamy, obviously. I imagine it as being all the really lovely and creamy drinks I've ever tasted, with all the best bits taken and combined to make this drink 100 times as nice! I don't imagine it alcoholic, or they wouldn't serve it to Harry and his friends.
Kinda like baileys without the alcohol, or cream soda without the fizz, or coca cola float but nicer than all of them.

I think they're actually gonna make butterbeer.The recipe I wrote in my post(Melt the ice cream. Then whisp in a little bit of whipped butter to soften mixture. Add some warm cider to it, and it is ready to serve. Daniel Radcliffe enjoyed this when he had it on the show. =) is how they made butterbeer in the movie,so maybe they'll going to sell it

I also imagined that it had that bubbly CO2 feeling like soda. I imagine it more like a butter-soda or butterscotch soda type thing, and I think it is VERY mildly alcaholic (like about 1% or something very very low where young wizzards can drink it). BTW, there are some ppl who cant drink soda because they are not allowed to drink a lot of Cafeenne, so I guess Butterbear is like the same thing.
