Who has read Order of the phoenix?

Postby Violet » Wednesday 24 September 2003 5:53:39pm

Some of the mods were discussing the fact that the books, movies, and theories sections seem to be lacking in posts at the moment, and it's probably because of book 5 and the fact that it cant be discussed in there.

So we're running this poll to find out how many of us have read the book...

I've read it, but not of course cause I'm portuguese but I was so desperate for reading it that I bought it just the way they sold it... And two good thing happened:
1) I read the book;
2) I've improved a lot my english knowledge.

So, HP's books have only good things to give us... :lol:

I've deleted the double post and added the "No" option. Seeing as I think it's still to be released in some countries, I've added an extra choice too, for people who are in countries where Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix hasn't been released yet.

Well, I finished it a long time, way back in June, so I am dying to talk about it openly in all the forums

Well hopefully we'll find that we dont have members who havent read book 5, but i think we also need to come up with a time when we can open up the whole forum if we find that vast numbers havent read it

Taking into consideration the outcome of this poll, Moderators' recommendations and that most people have had a chance to read Order of The Phoenix now, I've today merged the Order of the Phoenix sections into the main forum as a whole. :-)

Threads which were in the Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix Book Discussions section can now be found in The Books section.

Discussions that were in the Theories based on Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix section are now in the Theories section.

All posts which were in the Rumours following Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix section are now in the Rumours section.

Everything which was in the New Characters in Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix and New Aspects of Existing Characters is now in the Characters section

And the brilliant tales in the Harry Potter Fan Fiction containing Order of the Phoenix References or Spoilers section can now be read in the Share your own Harry Potter Fan Fiction section.

Discussions about Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix are therefore now welcome in all areas of the forum, although there is one new special area, The Phoenix Free Room, a new room which has been created for those who haven't yet read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, yet still want to discuss anything about books one to four. Please do not post any discussions about book 5 in The Phoenix-Free Room, which will allow members who haven't yet read JK Rowling's latest masterpiece to fully enjoy Book 5. :)

Hope you like the new layout. :-)
