Just to reassure everyone, there's been no hacking of BaO as far as I'm aware. For quickness, can you tell me your previous screenname, Hermione_granger_grl1993. As you probably know you need 25 good (non-spam or single-sentence style) posts to be sorted, and a good record, and reasonable period of membership for consideration of being a Prefect.

I'm being very careful and particular about appointment of Prefects and Mods at the moment by the way (maybe overly-so), so if anyone is interested in being Prefect or Moderator, please don't be offended if it' a "no", but at the same time please don't let this stop anyone from asking).

Hermione_granger_girl, you must, must MUST have 25 posts at the very least before you can get put into a house.

As Paul just said, only very best behaved members become prefects, and even then; there has to be a need for one. Members who spam the boards with the same messages over and over don't become prefects at all.

If you want to become a prefect or a moderator someday, I suggest you let us get to know you better, post in some of the other forums, and just have fun.

i have more than 25 posts. and i am on every day or shall i say active its not my fault someone to my username and changed it. they found my password and now it is gone i was 2 years and had 600 post will i repeat this is not fair and i want Paul to answer this only

Wth regard to your request to be in Gryffindor, you will be sorted when it is felt that you have contributed to the forum adequately. Repeated posts requesting sorting will hinder rather than help your sorting, as it gives the impression that you are spamming. Please be patient, contribute in more than just a couple of sentences in your posts, and you may find yourself welcome in a House.

Single sentence posts, or repeated posts may be deleted - this applies to all members and is in the interest of the forum as a whole. No-one wants to got to a forum and find it full of such posts. Contribute in a positive and considered way and you will, however, be welcome.
