What happen to Voldie?

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

As mentioned above, Harrys feelings for Sirius overwhelm LV and they broke apart.

Later, in DD's office, Dumbledoree is fiddling with one of his instruments that emits smoke. DD observes that there were TWO. I read this as DD knowing that there were TWO snakes, one of Harry's and one of DDs.

At this point, DD can look at Harry without hiding his feelings for the boy because Harry is NOT under the influence of LV. This was the turning point.

That's how I remember it.

Interesting as I wonder what the significance of the snake scene with Harry and DD is, however the problem with that post is that your scenes are in the wrong order. The snake seperation scene happens just after Harry sees Arthur get hurt, not at the end.

There are also a few confusing points about your post; when are they both in snake form? In the mind battle? Therefore what inclines you to think this from the way that scene played out...I just imagined it as a battle of wills.

Also, the two snakes, surely you mean one was Harry and the other LV?

Slightly off topic, but what do you reckon about what Dumbledore said to Voldy?
"We both know there are other ways of destroying a man, Tom.....Merely taking your life would not satisfy me i admit-"
That line shcoked me when i first read it that i stopped reading and went over it again and again. Does Dumbledore really want to draw out Voldy's death to make him suffer?!!! he seems to have a bit of an evil streak in him.

Ok,

Voldie said that there is nothing worse in this world then death.

and DD says there are other things that r worse then death.

And then Voldie posseses harry to make sure that he feels smth that is worse then death.....Isn't Voldie doing an opposite from what he just said??

I also had a feeling that DD did smth to Voldie that made him exp this horror - this would explain the sentance Eol brought up.

DD says there are things worse then death, then he makes Vodie feel those things, in return Voldie posseses Harry to share his pain.

I dont know....I need the next book.

Like Dumbledore - Voldy doesn't need a cloak to become invisible, maybe he was still in the room.
