I was wondering, what are your favorite books? (Other than Harry Potter, of course !)

The Narnia books, Diane Duane's novels, Diana Wynne Jones's books (hence my screen name), the Oz series (Baum's only), and practically anything of the fantasy nature- even the dark stuff... I LOVE vampires! I also like writers such as Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Edgar Allan Poe, and Stephen King. All in all, I'm a book fanatic and will read practically anything I can get my hands on!

The Xanth series by Peirs Anthony! I pity the poor fool who has never read them.

The Prydain Chronicals, by lloyd Alexander

The redwall series by Brian Jaques! *runs off to read Redwall for the 45th time*

The only thing they have in coincidence is that their all Brits. Same with JK. Am I on to something here?

I like the Lord of the ring books, as well as the diary ones.

Also, I really don't know much about them, but has anyone heard of the Barry Trotter books? They're like a take off on Harry Potter. Just happened to notice them in a book store one day.

My other favs are Fnatasy ones- like Raymond E Feists 'Riftwar' and David Eddings 'Belgariad' And 'Mallorean' those were great! However, Harry Potter still rocks them all

my fav. books-the hobbit, final fantasy spirits within, lotr series, ender series (ender's game, ender's shadow, xenophobia, the hive queen, and children of the mind), i used to read goosebumps long ago, myth series (funny as heck), a wrinkle in time, choose your own adventure stuff (not the korny ones though), i like star wars books, zelda books (although there are few) gundam books, the resident evil series and many other misc. books and series (oh! the dune books are awesome too!)
