Something I don't understand...???

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Something I don't understand...???

As you see I'm new here...
So, hello, everybody! :-)

I've only got a question about something Luna talks about, in the Room of Requirement while they're there for the first time. When she says some things about Fudge, she mentions an "Umbugular Slashkilter"... :???:
That sounds funny, but I just don't have the slightest idea what that's supposed to be? I learn English only in school, maybe there's something "hidden behind the words", or so? It would be great if someone could try to explain this to me, I'm really wondering about that

I guess this is a weird question... anyway, I hope it's okay.

Then, bye! :)

I wouldn't be surprised to learn in book 6 maybe that they aren't made up creatures, and that the quibbler has some truth in it (apart from harry's interview)

Sadly, I think we'll find that the Quibbler is exactly that - the Quibbler.

Better known as "Weekly World News," "National Enquirer," or "People" magazines in the United States.
