UK/US Differences

I understand why the American version was changed to "Sorceror's" because like American kids dont relate to the word "philosopher's" It's a pity though because in the myths and stuff, it was the philosopher's stone. It's kinda sad that the books had to be all americanized, i would rather read the british version because thats the way its meant to be read

WEll yes Accio, but remember not everybody is a British and for some others they have only learned American English and its ways of humor or such. Some of my friends doesn't even know that a lift is also an elevator. I agree with some that some words in British should be change to American way and some shouldn't. It mostly depend on the word.
