Where are you from?

I thought I'd start a poll to get a general idea of where the posters from this Forum reside. Since it's voting on a poll, your name and location will not be directly related . . . you'll simply be a 'tally mark', so don't worry about giving away your location! Hope everyone will participate . . . unfortunately, I can't do all individual countries, so I'll pick some countries I think will have large numbers (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, America, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and Austalia) and then do the others as regions, I think. I'll see what works! Be sure to vote on the poll so we can get an accurate number of how many posters come from which area of the world! Thanks! :D Please vote!!! :typing:

P.S.--If you care to elaborate on where you live (or why you like/dislike where you live) or anything like that, feel free to post on this thread! :P

Sorry to double-post, but if you find your location does not fit into ANY of the categories, please post on this thread and let me know! I am trying to get an 'anyone else' option added, as I *think* most of the places of the world are covered. If you fit into this category, please wait to vote until that option is up! Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!

Alright lizzy bennet, just casted my vote, I live in England, in a county called Worcestershire, I like to say that I like where I live because there is a lot to do, but the thing that I dislike it that the county of worcestershire is in the middle of the country and I live a far distance away from the sea, so I get to sea it like once a year on holidays

I live in eastern US of america :D
and i like where i live. america seems to have kind of bad rap...like we think we're better than all those other countries...but most of the time thats not true (though I'm not saying there aren't a few people who think that way). america's nice....at least where i live. the scenery could be prettier b/c i live in a fairly large city in a farm state... not a whole lot of mountains which is unfortunate...but i still like it :)

I'm from NY. Not the city, which would be significantly better than where I am now, but a small town about an hour north of it. It's not terribly bad, the small town feel is somewhat cute, but it's wretched when you're trying to find something to do on a Friday night. There's also an insane amount of people with mullets. It's creepy...:o

Sydney(AU) is pretty good. Weather's perfect. No snow, no sand storms, no tornados and no earthquakes... A pretty crime free place. There's never any car bombs going off when I walk down the street... Foods are alway of good quality. No mad caw disease...Air is fresh. No need for gas masks when I go out for a run... Traffic is good. Can't walk across the city on top of cars... Drinkable tap water. No need to boil...A vast variety of wildlife. (no we don't get dragged by kangaroos on rollerskates)...Things are very affordable. Water front mansions for less than a million bucks. Broadband pricing sucks though compared to other countries...

I live in MA and I like it here. Not in a city (thank god) but not too far away either.

I live in the one city on earth with perfect weather. I am quite near the ocean, which moderates said weather.

I have affordable broadband and four shopping centers within a mile. It's so nice here I rarely leave.

It's San Diego California. To find it, go to Oregon, hit the 5 freeway and so south until you get to Mexico. Then backtrack a few miles. I'll leave the porch light on for you.
