I noticed that Sonkem is no longer a moderator on this thread . . . while certainly it is up to you and what you can handle, I hope my enthusiasm didn't run you off. :cry:

Seriously, you were a good moderator, and if my massive number of threads/posts prevented you from being a mod. of this section, I am truly sorry. If you ever feel you have the time to come back as a mod., that'd be great! I hope Neo doesn't feel overwhelmed.

I had to resign because the theories section has grown so popular....nice to see it so popular though.....i was kind of worried at first when paul created it cos i suggested it and then noone would post and i only had one theory....yes...nice to see it so popular but i dont have time on this slow computer to keep up with it all...

though, i dont think it really needs much moderation now...i seem to have finally managed to scare you all into staying on topic, ive hardly had to do a thing for ages....

oh well, there is the posibility i may be a theories mod again after september once i get back to uni and have a fast computer which i dont have to share...

Good that you have less work to do in regards to keeping people on topic . . . I'm sure that can be aggrevating!

I've been impressed with how well people stay on-topic, which is great. It can be frustrating when things go completely in another direction. Glad to see this area is so popular . . . I wonder how many of these theories will be true . . . guess we'll all have to read the 5th book to find out! :razz:

Sorry to hear that Sonk, but well 3 months isn't that much (we have wait 3 years for OoP)

And well, most posts are from Holly (wonders who she posts with); and I'm not overwhelmed by the way.

I'm happy to see that after the Great Hall, Theories has become the section with more posts.

I was wondering though, would you mind if I asked paul if I could be a temp theories mod, while you are away, since I practically live there anyway???

lol, go ahead....ive been told that if there were 2 mods when i chose to be mod again i could be third mod...its certainly active enough to need 3 mods right now...

Yeah, I suppose, but all the activity seems to be from Holly and myself (wghich will be moderators). But I have the feeling theories section will have a boom after June 21.

Well, if not me, than Blaise Zabini certainly should get some credit for all her posts in the 'Theories' section!

Yeah, I agree that Zab also posts some in the theories. Which I really like, since Holly and I never agree. Aklso she seems to know about every name something in legends and myths.

Yeah, the Theories section should totally boom after OOTP is out, and I would feel much better about becoming Mod if when you come back, Pauls lets us have 3 Sonkem!

Yes, there will be a new maximum of 3 moderators per forum very soon. The existing maximum of 2 was to get an even spread of moderators for each forum, but now that most forums do have 2, and its getting much busier, 3 would be extremely useful. More info about this will be posted in the Sorting Hat area shortly. :-)

not really i mean its not like someone has the same name with number afterwards THAT would be confusing!

i.e. Hermione001 Hermione Weasley001 or Hermione Malfoy001 see that would be confusing!

i am acctually amazed how fast my posts have gone up in the last couple of days!i think monday i had like 50!
