Harry Potter vs. The Lord of the Rings

I reckon if you mixed the two books together, lord of the rings and Harry Potter, it would be pretty damn amazing, i know it would be incredibly hard to do, but i've read some fics like it on Fanfiction.net and they rocked!

I'm thinking of writing one myself, actually, but i'll have to complete HP and the dark reign first... It might be quite interesting to write. I love writing stories!

I've only just started to read the books, cause my brother keeps insisting I watch the movie, and I will [i]not[/]i watch it without reading the book. That's my policy.

An excellent policy, thats what i use as well, the film doesnt seem as good if you haven't read the book before hand, because you know your either missing things that are in the book, or seeing things that aren't- its a little stupid

I really liked LotR, but in my house, there's only enough room for 1 LotR fan, and that's my sister. I stick to Harry Potter, which i sort of like better anyway. I've read fellowship of the ring and The Two Toweres, and we got the DVD at 12:01 on Tuesday. The Hp movie was a lot closer to the book than LotR. They left so much out in the LotR books, like tom Bombadil, the barrow wight, and how the characters met people and stuff.

By the way, my sister was wondering if any lotr fans are active on any other lotr forums.
