lol, the last time i went to one of those webpages....i got to a question and refused to agree with the stupid wee message box thing and ended up having to restart my computer cos it was the only way to get rid of it....i refuse to go to those pages from now on...ive never seen what it looks like if you click through all the messages....

the same thing happened to me as it did sonkem except i had just run out of energy to go through any more pop ups. ( ok so it doesn't take very much energy holding down the enter key but it was really really bugging me)

it did something wierd to my PC i think, although i'm not really sure.

the only way i could get rid of it was using the ctrl+alt+delete thing but that totally crashed my computer i seem to remember.....but i was determined not to agree with the stuff it was saying....i hate those sites with a passion...nearly as much as i hate the ones that scream....people should note that if they catch me out with a screaming one i will explode.....

Cute, but yes, probably very annoying if you can't escape.

Hint: if you want to ensure you can get out at any time, (without having to close your computer) or shut down ALL your browser tabs or windows, open the link in a new window. You can then escape by Alt-F4 (may need to keep your fingers on both these buttons for a very short while, just a second or four should do it). This works fine in Opera 7 and k-meleon browsers - haven't tried it in Internet Explorer (virtually never use Internet Explorer).
