:o
If you allowed anyone under 18 to drive here, you may even lose your license. And the one who drives won't get the permission to drive for two more years! God, I wish I was Australian!!

hrmm, this isn't on the road you realise... just around the headlands of cane paddocks... it's private property, you can do whatever you like!!!

I certainly wasn't driving on the road at age 8!!!

*well, not much anyways!!!*

When i was quite little, probably about 9 or 10 i used to sit on my dads lap and steer while he was doing all the complicated peddle bits.

We only went around and around the garden and on my grandparents farm because it would've been too illegal and dangerous to set me loose on the roads!

It all stopped when i accidentally steered into the washing line, got the car tangled up and snapped the line. I think my parents were a bit angry after that...

Lol, I did the exact same thing. Except for a minor incident involving a mailbox, it wasn't so bad! And my cousin used to do that with my uncle, except he had the lovely habit of forgetting which was the brake pedal once he got into the driveway. They paid for quite a few repairs on their garage..

I don't fancy driving. I got my learner's half a year ago. Still haven't touched the steering wheel yet. Why drive when I can ride?

Still, driving at 8 or 9 is pretty cool. You probably have one single police taking care of 6 or 7 towns in your area right Holly? Not like Sydney.

Cougarman: No, it's juust a very small town where i come from... I think that there are two or three policemen, just a small small town!!!

Becca and Blaise: I remember doing that too, on tractors!!!I I used to hold the wheel ont he straight parts, and dad used to turn the corners!!! *which is good because all our paddocks have deep ditches or creeks on the edges! *
I think that I was about 5 or 6 when I was doing that though! I was such a little farm girl! *tee-hee-hee!*

I think that I could change a tyre before most people could drive!!!
