hey, i've been making a lot of harry potter avatars lately, and i wondered if paul would like to put them in the gallery.

I love them, I'd love to use the 'Cowardly Lion was in Gryffindor' but the best one, which also made me laugh was the last one! Good work Fawkes!!

What program do you use to make these? Because in Paint program, it always says mine is too big.

Where does it say it's too big? Does the forum say it's too big? You have to make them pretty small. I'm not sure what the forum's requirements are, but I always make mine 100x100 pixels, in .gif format.

Thanks Fawkes, they're superb! I've created a new Avatar_Gallery_by_ FawkesthePhoenix and have put them there for members to use from their User Control Panel.
The current settings for uploading avatar piccies are:
If I upload them they can override these settings though, so I've included "The Girl Who Lived" as an exception.

- Maximum filesize of 9.5 Kilobytes

I've made some too! Gimp's awesome.
I'm still trying to figure out how to make animated avatar's but Ive made a few anyhow.
