Aw, come on guys . . . the little kid is annoying, but harmless. I say do away with Draco . . . or Fleur Delacor. Nevertheless I'm also beginning to think that Colin will die. But why Colin? He doesn't play a role in the novels except to irritate Harry.

Oh yeah . . . Fred, why do you want it to be Lavender's sister?

Was that the one Harry went to the Yule Ball with?

Jo said that the person who dies in the next book will be a "special" fan of Harry, and the only "special" fan I can think of would be Snape, the others are fans, not "special" fan. (I have the same most in theories, and there is the all the posts of why SS can die in the next book)

I agree with you on the "special" fan, Neo, but couldn't the same be true for Draco?

No, no, no! Not Draco! Please, please, please...
Definitely not Ron or Hermione seeing as how that would create a definite void in the remaining books. And I don't think Snape either. He definitely has a greater role to play and it would be too early to get rid of him. Maybe Hagrid, but again, it seems too early. Methinks Neville. Or Colin.

It MUST be Snape! He's my favourite character, and, as a rule, my favourite characters ALWAYS die...I don't know why, it just happens... :o

I just thought of the theory, and in some ways sounds likely, but still rumours say we will now a lot more about Snape in book six, so I don't think he will die in the fifth. (Possibly in the seventh)
I don't see Neville as the next one to die, it is most likely Hagrid (but I preer to be one of the creeveys)

Oh, you guys are so mean to want to kill little Colin off! I mean, sure, he's annoying, but you really want him dead ? LOL But seriously, I think that it might be him, or maybe Ron will die in the last book.

Wow, this is an old topic!

I doubt Rowling will kill off Ron . . . Ron is Harry's sidekick. She'd want to make him last until the seventh book, because he's really the comic relief of the series. Without Ron, the series would be so depressing that they'd be almost impossible to read. I mean, think about it . . . if only Harry and Hermione remained, can't you imagine how glum things would be? They would be worrying all the time . . . and Harry would go crazy . . . not a very pretty picture!

It's a fascinating possibility, but I hope it doesn't come to pass, because Ron's one of my favorite characters. :-?

I don't think Ron will be offed anytime soon..or ever...I think Hagrid, Dumbledore, or Lupin are next! I know that is sad, but they are close to Harry and they would be a probable target by the Death Eaters!
