isn't Galena (Duck) hiding behind a tree in a form of a beagle, looking at Valencia (Fawkes) vs Nikolaus (choki) in a showdown while Liam (Riley) and Geneve (Distortia) looked on from the house and shouted for the 2 adults' attention?

So what is gonna happened?
Alright since the shouting for the attention seemed not to be working as the adults were still engaged in their own showdown. Perhaps we can make it that the barrier not only prevent physical/magical entry but also blocked the house from outside contact... Kinda like erm...

To the adults outside, it looked normal without any suspicious, hence they can't see the 3 young kids.

But the 3 kids (Liam, Geneve, Arthur) were able to see what was going on outside and trying their best to get these adults' attentions (Galena, Valencia, Nikolaus)

What's going to break the tension? Why doesn't Geneve go all voldy-crazy, manage to break through the barrier and come dangerously close to destroying them all.

I like your character choki, and the way u write him, what u say above is exactly the impression i get. So what's in it for Nikolaus? A chance to discover the darkest magic of all in action - a magical transformation compiling the strongest magic Marcelus could gather.

A brief history
Nikolaus happens to be a great-grandson of Grindelwald through his grandmother (daughter of Grindelwald who was married into a pure wizarding family which of course, Grindelwald was in favour of). However, his daughter rose against Grindelwald and was disowned for being a muggle protector. The father and daughter remained estranged for more than a year until the death of his daughter and her husband from a stray curse during an attack. Grindelwald was greatly saddened.

At the request of their son and daughter-in-law to keep their newborn son away from harm and Grindelwald prior to the fatal incident, the paternal great-grandparents of Nikolaus lied to the outside world about the identity of their grandson and had their older son (uncle of the child) to bring him up as his own son.

Up to this very date, the only few person who knew the existance of Grindelwald's bloodline were the Uncle/Aunt (now Nikolaus' grandparents).
Nikolaus himself was not aware of his infamous heritage. However, his close resemblance had been a worrisome concern.

So all in all, Nikolaus is having traits of what a young Gellert Grindelwald had early in is teen... someone whose interests in dark arts is growing ever more worrisome

hmmm.. sounds perfectly wonderful! And an excellent opportunity for the story to go in 'dark' directions. Looking forward to more posts!

okee.. so incase u haven't guessed... my character is being held captive and someone else is coming back in my place using Polyjuice potion. And of course, in real time play, u all are none the wiser... yet !

What's thissss... we can't have any OOC speech in scenarios, Distortia! Could one of the DH mods edit it out, please?

See rule 10. To be honest, it's there because it has made an absolute mess of scenarios in the past. That was acutally the purpose of the existence of this very Discussion Forum. I remember clearing all of the OOC from all the old scenarios (when it was allowed) to made it readable in the Vault. Took hours.

Anyway, sorry to be the role-play police but someone has gotta do it.

Liam heard the shout above, he turned his head and saw Geneve screaming for help.

"Gelena, we need your help ! Arthur has been hurt !" he said drastically..

"Ok Liam just one second" as she started to iterroate the strange man..

This is where i got confused.... I thought this post was in the role play, cause then i wrote another entry below it to counter what Riley had said. Then someone (I think it was u Phoenix in Ashes) who pointed out I put my entry in the discussion forum and not the role play. The thing is, when it comes through my email, it says "The Next Generation" whether it's the discussion or the role play. So.... I THOUGHT it was ok to post something out of character because I THOUGHT someone had posted a correction in the Role Play. I'm very sorry for breaking the rules, and yes please edit that out, it was nothing important and i feel sooooooooo stupid!

I hope the scenario is still up to scratch....

It's absolutely fine and understandable, don't worry about it!

But DH mods, the quote above signifies the need for distinction between the Role-Play thread and the discussion one, as I pointed out in the Mod Forum.

This is the result of the rule 17b violation which has been annoying me for months .

2 misterious people were firing off curses , and one looked familliar..

Oh no it's Geneve, he thought feircly,

He sprang infront of the teachers but he was unfortunate becaue at that time a stunning spell hit his chest..

He blacked out, and the last thing he could remember was the look in Geneve's eye..

Sorry Liam, but Geneve is still unconscious at the back of the house, not firing curses. The two wizards firing curses are Valencia's cousins. as per Fawkes the Phoenix's post that says :

Valencia felt a prod in her back. It was Galena. Thank god.
"Yes, I do know what's going on. Marcellus, my grandfather, is trying to bring Voldemort back. And by the looks of it, he's brought some of the family into it." Valencia gestured towards the firgures. "Those are my couisins." She began to duel. "It's like Christmas all over again."

Didn't the lady take polyjuice potion to look like you ? that's why I said it looked like you..bit it was the lady in disguise.. or hasn't she even taken it yet

she's taken it, and the man apparated to bring imposter (sp??) Geneve back. He had hit her on the head to keep consitent with what happened to the real Geneve, and when he arrived he ran into Arthur and he dropped the imposter Geneve in the snow. (and then vanished) She is now awake and is setting out to find you (so as far as anyone knows she IS Geneve, as much as Harry and Ron were Crabbe and Goyle when they took the Polyjuice potion, oh, and Mad Eye Moody too. Convincing in every physical way)

The idea now is that this dark witch who is posing as Geneve needs to steal some Veela magic from you. When she does, she'll return to Geneve. Right now, the two cousins seem to be trying to get something from Valenica using a viale (her magic i'm guessing)

Does that all make sense... that's the general feeling i'm getting from the rp.

and still loving it!


But ya... it can all get very confusing. i keep stuffing up a lot, I tend to rush too much some times.
