Maybe she already had the ingredients this time? In CoS she had to stew the lacewings herself (I think...) for 21 days, and the Fluxweed must be picked at the full moon. If perhaps she had the lacewings 'ready made' and they were lucky enough to be making the potion at a full moon...

:???: Maybe?

Good Thinking ! I think that J.K Rowling overlooked that fact, but it still managed to work out.

oWhere did you get the impression that Hermione had to MAKE the polyjuice potion? In chapter 16, "Godric's Hollow", page 321 of the United States version, it say, and I quote:

"Harry would gladlyhave set out for Godric's Hollow the following day, but Hermione had other ideas. Convinced as she was that Voldemort would expect Harry to return to the scene of his parent's deaths, she was determined that they wouold set off only after they had the best disguises possible. It was therefore a full week later- after they had surreptitiously obtained hars from innocent muggles who were Christmas shopping, and had practiced Apparating and Disapparating while underneath the Invisibility Cloak together- that Hermione agreed to make the journey."

No mention of actually having to make the polyjuice potion.

There is a reference earlier in the book (unfortunately I can't find it right now) to polyjuice potion being brewed so Harry can disuise himself as "Barney Weasley" and Hermione "sneaking" a large flask of it past Mrs. Weasley. That's where the polyjuice potion they used later came from.

I vaguely remember reading that Hermione took all of Mad-Eye's polyjuice potion (presumably leftover from the 7 Potters chapter). I can't recall exactly where it said that, but I'm pretty sure that's where the polyjuice potion came from.

I'm afraid that what I recall is that Hermione tells Harry she has smuggled Mad-Eye's entire stock of Polyjuice Potion past Mrs Weasley , when she ,Ron and Harry are arguing before the wedding about whether Harmione and Ron should accompany Harry. Later it simply says that Harry takes a large dose of PJP to become "Barny" for the wedding. At Godric's Hollow they take PJP ,there is no mention of where it comes from and the assumption therefore is that it is still Mad-Eye's batch. Lastly in the Gringotts raid they use the last dose to transform Hermione into Bellatrix , leaving none for Ron who has to have bits of his face transfigured by Hermione to disguise him. If she had been able to brew more this would not have been necessary.
