This could be fun. Voldemort was defeated in 1998 by the way... so 19 years after 1998 is actually 2017.
But if you go by school years... the 97/98 school year is 19 years before the 16/17 school year. So I suppose you're right in a way.

But I'm fairly sure the '19 years later' epilogue related to 19 years after Voldemort's death plus a few months, rather than the beginning of the 2016 school year, which is in fact only 18 years and a few months.

Oh well... who cares :???: .

My character is the son of Dudley Dursley and his wife. He was born in July 2005, which makes him 11 for the start of the 2016 school year.

Awesome.

I'll leave you to accept/reject the character. It's courtesy really.

I loved teh character, PITA. Arthur(I keep wanting to call him Dudley  ) Dursley is all approved. Happy RPGing.
By the way, is he named after the man who blasted his father's living room in?

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure on the years. Oh well, I changed the name anyway. The Next Generation is a much cooler name. Godric actually came up with it.

PITA, I love your character! I was hoping someone would be Dudley's kid. I was actually thinking of doing that, but I wanted to be a professor.

The Next Generation does sound cool! Yeah, it just occured to me out of nowhere, I thought it'd be interesting.

By the way, is he named after the man who blasted his father's living room in?

Maybe, maybe...!

I suppose since my character is in charge of the sorting hat, I'll do the sorting, but I'll just put the hat on your character's head and then you can make the hat say what house your character's in. If that makes sense. I think if someone has a first year, they should decide what house they're in.

I've given it a little nudge. Who should be directing the first years, do you think?

Though I suspect half-giants would live longer than the average wizard, and wizards generally live a bit longer than the average muggle.

Questions to ask would be: Would he want to stay without Dumbledore? And if no, where would he go?

I think he would stay. He would stay for the students. Plus, he'd want to be there when Harry's kids arrived.
