I don't think Harry is a horcrux, LV wants him destroyed not making him more powerful by giving him his own power.

harry is not a horcrux

he wouldn't be able to after trying to kill harry, as his body was destroyed. v intended to kill harry. he wouldn't make a horcrux out of something he was going to kill

Ok, firstly, for Voldemort to be killed all the other pieces of his soul must be destroyed before you can destroy his body and the seventh piece. So if Harry was a horcrux that would mean he would have to kill himself before killing Voldemort which obviously is impossible because you can't kill somebody else when you're dead!!!!

ok, when the curse rebounded on v, if he didn't have horcruxes he would've died.
he did, so they saved him, but his body was destroyed. remember in the 1st book when v said that he could have a form only by sharing the body of another?

Where does it say that you have to kill all of the Horcruxes before you kill the last piece inside of the person? Is the Seventh the piece in him?

it doesn't. which explains why v's body was able to be destroyed.

It does! DD says so to Harry in one of their lessons. LV wasn't destroyed completely because all of his other pieces of soul hadn't been destroyed so his body was destroyed but all of his soul still exists. If you try destroying LV and the piece inside his body before the others the same thing will happen again.. he will just be a spirit thing like in Sorcerers stone and will be able to come back again like he did in GoF.

I can't see Harry or the scar being a Horcrux, I mean it would be too kinda expectable. Oh noes! Harry was a horcrux all along! You see what I mean?

What if both of them are killed at the same time? What if it really was a mistake? How do we know how you make a horcrux?

I so can't wait to find out the answers to our burning questions now. My bet is that there is a horcrux hidden in the Room of Requirement.

Sounds good about the RoR.
But, wouldn't it be funny if Mr. Weasley thought that one of the horcruxes was a muggle-artifact and he took it home and di his usual thing and then he accidentally destroyed it!

Hmm I don't think any of them will be easily destroyable. I think the one in RoR is the blood stained axe mentioned in HBP - maybe it was the axe that took Nearly Headless Nick's head off nearly. Or perhaps some of the other trinkets that were there.
