well, I was thinking that it could just be some drunken yobbo passed out, and then Aunt Petunia would come out screaming, but then it says teenage boy...

I reckon it's got to be either harry or dudley, since it's in privet drive. I cant' see Vernon letting Ron come visit or any one else for that matter...

I think that something has happened and he went outside to think about it. (like he doesn't want to see Dursleys at that point).

If he stays in the house - Dudley may bother him, but since its super hot outside, no-one will bug him.

I CANT WAIT TO FIND OUT

I think it's Harry. He has a lot on his mind and doesn't care about the flowers. All summer long he's been having strange dreams that seem to have some kind of secret meaning and he's laying there trying to figure it out. The Dursleys are out and won't be back for a while so he won't be interupted in the flowers besides, if it's really hot outside it's even hotter in his room. (I doubt Harry's room has an ac or even a fan) Yeah, he'll be in trouble over the flowers but he's always in trouble whether he does something or not so at least this time it'll be worth it.

It's definitely Harry (that's what the quote says), but what is he doing there, maybe flowers will be an important part of the book, but at the momento I can't think in a way, I'll work on it tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm very interested to know why he is specifically lying in a flower bed... it's not a very normal thing to do, and I'm wondering if the flower thing will come into play somewhere further along in the book...

I mean, JKR very rarely seems to writes in things like that that have no meaning whatsoever... We always seem to get introduced to things at the beguining of the books that come into play later, wether in a major or minor way...

Hrmm, just can't wait for that damned book to come out! My only prob is I hate reading hard-cover books!

I don't read by the pool, so I have not that problem. I like more covers that are not hard beacuse like that books are easier to hold.

Maybe the Durlseys have died...... *doom music playing in the background*... no, that's probably unrealistic... if it is harry, he might very well have fallen asleep in the flowerbeds and the Dursleys are more leniant because of his godfather -the "serial killer" - after all, Harry DID do all that landscaping when he was in trouble and the D's had company coming. Then again, it could be someone else hiding out in a bed of Petunias.. haha.. that was a really bad pun.. anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait out the next 47 days and find out! :P
