Well folks, it looks like Hufflepuff's questions had everyone scratching their heads, so here are the questions again, along with the answers and results.
1. Why weren't the Wizards' Council convinced by Uric the Oddball when he tried to prove that Fwooper song was beneficial to the health?
Answer: He arrived at the meeting wearing nothing but a toupee that on closer inspection proved to be a dead badger.
2. What quidditch team does Albus Dumbledore support?
Answer: Puddlemere United.
3. What extra special feature does Harry suggest Malfoy needs for his broomstick in book 3?
Answer: An extra arm so it could catch the snitch for Malfoy.
4. How much do silver unicorn horns cost in the apothecary?
Answer: Twenty-one Galleons each.
All of the houses of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin appear to have been totally beaten by the brilliantly tricky questions, as no house posted any answers, so Hufflepuff score a huge amount of points this time around. With 2 points awarded to Hufflepuff for every incorrect of non-answer, that makes 8 points for all four questions, multiplied by the three houses who all had no anwswers, giving a total of 24 points to Hufflepuff and unfortunately no points to any of the other three houses.
This brings the overall running total house points to:
Slytherin 51
Gryffindor 35
Hufflepuff 32
Ravenclaw 6
So Hufflepuff are almost catching up with Gryffindor for second place, but Slytherin is still out there in the lead, with Ravenclaw gallantly trying but behind the others with 6 points.
Everything could change though. Seeing as there was no house who scored the most correct questions this time, and in order to give Ravenclaw a chance to catch up, I'll give the opportunity of setting the next set of questions to Ravenclaw if they wish.
What do you think Ravenclaws - if you can set some good questions which stump the other teams, you could end up with a nice amount of points to take you back into contention with the leaders.
