i just thought about him - we heardquite alot about him in gof - school pricipal, apparently has teaching of dark arts in his school, and all of his talks with snape - it seems weird that we havent even heard him mentioned in ootp and hbp, so i thought maybe its to draw our attention away from him - maybe he has some important role in seven - will he rejoin vold and offer him his students as followers? or maybe will try to help the minestry? what do you think?

I think it was in HBP Lupin mentions Karkaroff was found dead in a hut.
