Do you Think that maybe amelia bones could be RAB? I mean, she was killed by voldy. she was an auror, and she had dissappeared for a while before dying, supposedly on " vacation".Her real name could be something like Rebbeca, but she just liked her middle name better so every knew her by Amelia. I found this on HBP Ch. 1 pg. 13 ( I think). Whadda think?

I don't remember any of that, maybe the UK version is short again. There's another crucial bit missing from our version where Dumbledore offers to fake Draco Malfoy's death. As soon as you have the time if you could type out the paragraph you're referring to in full, and possibly a wee bit before and after (so we know where it slots in), that would be most appreciated.

She was just head of the department of magical law enforcement.. not a auror.

I do like the idea, actually. I suppose it could work.

But I still think the Regulus theory works even better.

RAZ. I can't remember what language it is now, but in one of the translations Regulus's last name is Zwarts, and the RAB note says RAZ. If we could find out what bones begins with we could include or exclude her straight away.

Ever read one of those books called, "The Ultimate Unoffical Guide to the Mysterise of Harry Potter"? It has her full name in it, so they found it somewhere...
