yes but what about what they will do to all the hunting hounds specially bred for the sport and insuitable as pets.....and what about the horses....and the people's jobs

and then...what about when they stop hunting, no predators for the foxes, that means the fox population will increase at a fantastic rate, they carry disease, they scavenge human waste from bins making mess, they kill chickens, they attack pet cats....think what trouble they could cause hanging round the back yards of houses who have small children

um....and a bit i forget

im not saying im for the fox hunting....but im against what will happen to the state of economics in the countryside if they lose the sport and im also against the problems large increases in the population of foxes will cause to the countryside and the towns

what if... a safe s*x programme was brought in for foxes.

or.. if they were just i dunno.... left alone? but then they'd multiply....
so ......
they'd eat my bins and i wouldn't like that. but fox hunting is really nasty and those who call it sport are - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - (thats a big gap because i can't think of anything vile enough)

there are more humane methods of culling animals than being ripped apart still alive by a pack of bloodthirsty dogs a bunch of toffs going jolly good show. oh yeah its not only the dogs that kill them, quite often they die of exaustion. The bloody hunt wake me up at 6 in the morning parking there vans outside our house with total disrespect of anyone making a bloody racket! do you live in the countryside sonkem?

there are more cases of domestic dogs attacking people than foxes, all animals carry diseases especially rats but nobody hunts them eith a pack of hounds, foxes kill to eat the only reason they kill a whole hutch of chickens is because the oppertunitys there. If left undisturbed the fox WILL take all of the chickens but in most cases they get disturbed which is why they leave lots dead ones, dont argue with that coz david attenborough told me (through tele)

I saw that documentary. The fox killed all the chickens and took them one by one to bury them for later.
I just think that if fox numbers really do need to be kept under control that there are better ways to do it. The hunters clearly do it for fun or they wouldn't make such a fuss about the possibility of it being banned.
During the foot and mouth disease thing hunting was banned for a almost 2 years and the country never become infested with 'desease ridden' foxes, so i think that the hunters should find another excuse for their sport if they arent going to own up to the fact that they enjoy petrifying and traumatising foxes before they rip them apart.

yes i do live in the countryside, in the middle of nowhere, only 2 buses pass my house and one of them is the school bus...i think we are near hogwarts though...either that or theres 2 collonies of acromantula's in scotland judging by the spiders in my house....i need a pet basilisk...anyways.....no fox hunting round me...its all pheasant shooty shooty bang bang round here.....although, i have to say i am totally against shooting foxes....

somebody shot our ginger cat...we guess cos he looked like a fox, the bullet went in through his nose and exploded in his mouth i beleive.....he survived though....

my dog (also looked like a fox) was absoloutly terrified of the guns....no concern for normal domestic animals, she didnt used to be terrified of the guns till somebody shot one too close by and she got a bit of a fright....

thats terrible. Theres loads of pheasant shooting going on around here too. It's such an unfair thing to do - breed and raise the pheasants so they aren't afraid of humans, then let them go and see how many they can shoot. Why dont they just not let them go if they plan on killing them for meat??

Foxhunting....I dont like the idea of hunting in general.

Unless you are starving and need to hunt to food.
