Despite the wobbly in the middle when I accidently sacrificed my horse and nearly took the 'whoops I made a mistake lets sacrifice everything and giggle a lot' route I have managed to turn it round and there is now only one place you can move and then I have you and you can't escape

nope your king only had one move it could make and the pawn in the corner was covered by my other bihop so once your king made the only move possible to get out of check my queen simply takes the pawn and your king is stuck in the corner with absolutely nowhere to go and nothing close enough to save him....
