International peace day celebrations

as some people may know, today is international peace and non-violence day, set up by the UN in an attempt to create a day where charities and humanitarian organisations can operate in war zones, and hopefully creating a movement towards world peace. http://www.internationaldayofpeace.org/ is a good website if you havent heard of it, but there are tonnes on google.

did anybody do anthing to commemorate it? at our school, we all wore white shirts and jeans, which really made it feel like a big movement that everyone was participating in. what does everyone else feel about it?

There's an international peace day That is soooooooooo COOL I'm sorrry I missed it. I wished I didn't have. I won't next year though. But we should all try to make everyday international peace day Don't you think?
