That would have worked sooo much better! The guy they got to play Remus was horrible for the part. Ugh, I'm even more mad now.

I sort of agree. I think Ralph Fiennes might have at least *looked* more like Remus than David Thewlis.... Though I don't think he did that bad of a job. The mustache and the little bit of extra weight was what bugged me.
Of course I'm biased, though. David Thewlis is like my favorite actor ever....
He looks better in other movies. Check this out:

Malkovich with his strange style would be almost perfect.. but Christoffer Walkens almost demonic apperance would also be a good candidate
