Well, this was certainly not the way these things should go. She was supposed to have been doing at least something wrong.

Oh well, he thought. Here goes.

"Congratulations!" he burst out. "Most students take at least another half-hour before the master wingardium leviosa spell. Keep up the good work!"

It wasn't exactly a lie...

Misty went to head towards Care of Magical Creatures after Lunch, saying hi to a few fellow class mates and young Gryffindor's...realising when she saw Terry, Gryffindor's other Beater for the Team, that the Quidditch Team needed to be sorted out...she went to Dinas's office and checked the Quidditch Pitch availability immediately.
Running her finger down the schedule...everyday was free except Sunday morning...Slytherin Tryouts...

"Fine" she muttered under her breath, "We'll take Saturday..."

Running quickly up-stairs to Gryffindor she grabbed her books from upstairs, plus an extra piece of parchment and charmed it Gold with a Red border and scribbled in slinky letters "Gryffindor Quidditch Tryouts, Saturday, 11am" and wrote underneath 'Sign your name here if interested, plus interested position.'

"That'll do..." she gathered her books...and left...running towards The Hutt....

"Thank you, sir." Rowena replied politely to Professor Dinas, still a little confused but grateful.

The bell rang half an hour later, signalling the end of her day. Gathering her books, she walked sedately up to the Gryffindor Common Room and put them on a chair by the window. She smiled, and went to check the notice-board.

Rowena saw a notice asking for people to sign if they wished to try out for the Quidditch team on Saturday. She grabbed a quill, and wrote

Rowena Araneorum, Seeker.

Although she was a first-year, Rowena had a feeling she would be rather good on the Quidditch pitch.

After a rather amusing Care of Magical Creatures, in which they were looking at some of the 3rd and 4th year's creatures they studied, her favourite being the Niffler's who stole all of Patricia's rings...she headed up to the Common Room and checked who was interested for Quidditch..

Running her finger down the list of names...Seeker, Keeper, Seeker, Keeper, Chaser. Chaser...

'That looks promising' she thought to herself..'they needed 2 chasers, a seeker and a keeper..I'll leave that notice up till Friday night...'

Professor Dinas was surprised to see that over the course of the day, all Quidditch team captains booked slots for team trials.

Ravenclaw's team, he noticed, wasn't really open for any new charm considering none of the old players had left, but it never hurt to have a look around.

Slytherin had lost 5 players this year, and were looking as though they were headng for their worst year in a long while.

Misty decided to hit the books..she had Potions homework...

Grabing parchment and a quill, she sat down in the armchair closest to the fire and began working...
By the time she had gotten through 3/4's of the essay she had begun to drift of to sleep...she wrote another sentence and fell asleep...

Only to be woken 30mins later by Johnathon poking her..
"Hey, Sleepyhead" he said as she opened her eyes...he was picking up her ink bottle and quill off the floor...

Terrin settled down for the night, putting his nightcap on his head, and drifted off to sleep, thinking about what his life could have been like, if only he'd kept playing quidditch.

"Hey Johnathon..." she smiled..he was so cute when he was in firelight..

"What time is it??" she asked him as he pulled a chair from the nearby table and sat it next to her...

"10:30...Have you finished that essay...??" Misty looked down..

"Almost...I'll just add 2 more sentences and then I'll go to bed.." she yawned...and started to write the conclusion of her essay...

After 5minutes...she said "Done!"

Picking up her stuff, she gave Johnathon a quick hug and headed up the stairs to her dorm...he gave her a flick of his hand and turned back to the fire...

He was soo gorgeous when he smiles like that she thought..she sighed and opened her door..

It was a clear morning over Hogwarts - DInas woke up, feeling refreshed and rearing to go.

Friday started off good...with Defence Against the Dark Arts and Charms...her two best subjects....

And after lunch she spent her double free period in the library finishing up on homework with Johnathon and then drawing up lists for Quidditch Tryouts...

She could tell as she looked at the Quidditch list in the Common Room that this year...they were gunna be good...

He noticed the young Gryffindor prefects in his second-period Charms class.

He wondered for a moment if he should give them some advice about the direction the mouths were moving, in that they were talking so fast to each other everyone else in the class was staring at them, each mentally bidding them to carry on, and delay the class further.

narroe (yeah hed have to get used to think of himself as narroe now, instead of alex) sat in breakfast and thought to himself... it was a clear morning over hogwarts - and inside the mess hall - one more of many things hed have to get used to... but apart from these small details generally he felt really good about this new job and he thought he shouldnt have any problem here... he got up early as he liked so he had alot of time to think in breakfast

well now we'll see about that - he thought - 7th year should be a bit more challenging than the first years were...
"hello class" he said standing infront of them with his right leg and shoe a bit forward... it worked - for a minute all eyes fixed upon the "strange" bracelet on his shoe... "i like to see the eyes of those i talk to" he said calmly but sharply - the class eyes turned to his own. "u r 7th year so i expect u to know this already i wanna make sure - tell me all cores of wands and what each core is good for (several arms were raised) - go on tell me no pointing needed as long as u dont cut each other out"
the class seemed confused and more so when he told them they wont be needing their books or wands right now. but he got over everything he wanted with them - wands (which expectedly they didnt all know well), what is really important about dada - the things he thought at least the 7th years needed more than just learning more incantations and wand movements... the things with which he knew he could help them

Rowena hadn't slept very well that night, and woke up looking as if she had been dragged through a hedge backwards- and it was ten minutes before her first lesson of the day. Hurriedly, she got dressed and brushed her hair before going straight to her Potions class.

She was there before the bell, and rumaged in her bag to find a mint humbug. She popped it in her mouth, and waited.

today the sky-ceiling was cloudy - but very beautiful - as alex sat and stared at it thinking again over a long breakfast in the mess hall
he was a bit nervous today cuz he decided to approach dinas today and start ... "build" things up.. as it were.. the thought amused him he finished up his mushroom omlet and got up. noticing that dinas was still eating he decided to go to the quidditch pitch to fly a bit - he still had a little time before the pitch will be busy with training

After a good nights sleep, Misty headed downstairs to the Great Hall for breakfast earlier that morning, 8am sharp... before anyone else...except a couple of Hufflepuff's and one Slytherin...

After a hasty breakfast she found feet guiding her towards the Quidditch Pitch to begin setting up, and deciding how she was going to hold this tryout...maybe she'd put them in groups...
