I wrote this a while ago

I wrote this poem a while ago its a bit of a romantic one. Please let me know what you think

From the moment that I saw you,
I knew we were meant to be,
I knew within my heart,
That you were made for me.

I wondered how to tell you,
What was the best approach,
My friends and all my family,
A lot they did to coax.

I knew time was running out,
I needed to tell you so,
But the words just wouldn’t come,
That chance, I did blow

Since that day I met you ,
I knew what went wrong,
I never had the courage
And now my chance is gone.

If you have a special someone,
No matter how special they may be,
Tell them today that you love them,
Or your chance too may flee.

Let them know how your feeling,
The worst they can do is scorn,
Why keep your feelings all inside,
To love them, is why you were born.
