"Nothing..." said Keshia, looking downward.

Remmy looked around. There was nothing but forest all around. She walked a few steps ahead and peered between two of the trees. Something caught her eye.

"That it over there?" Remmy pointed to a rock. It had a funny shape... it was higher than her hip but smaller than her shoulder and was about three times as wide as she. On it there was some type of inscription.

"Over where?" Keisha asked, peering into the trees. "I don't see anything..."

"And you won't be able to" said Slasher

Remmy gave Slasher a puzzled look.

"Why not?" Remmy and Keshia asked in unison.

"No time to explain," Slasher said. "But follow me."

Slasher led the group over to the rock. In was covered in moss. There seemed to be some sort of inscription.

"Now," he said. "Who can see it?"

"Don't you know?" Slasher asked.

"Of course not... you haven't told us," Remmy replied.

"I would have expected you to show at least a little initiative though...

Oh no, Slasher thought. He said out loud: "Probably just off to get firewood or something."

He knew it would be worse than that. If Stan has been caught in the cross-dimensional web he might never be seen again.
