I think Dumbledore

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

i kinda saw the similarites btw gandalf and DD, but really i think that thier is a greater parrel btw Harry potter and Star Wars DD= Obi one Harry= luke Snape= darth vader Voldemort= senator palpatine ron & hermione= hon solo and princess lie hagrid= chewbaca

and im kinda thinking that DD died for a similar reason that obi one died, rite now it seems that it was like a huge loss, but like hell come to harry in some way and like help him beat voldemort, and i think snape is gonna be just like vader and probably turn on his master idk just some things i kinda picked up

You got it a little wrong, DD=Yoda, Snape=Dooku.

Well while we're comparing characters to characters from other works: what're the odds we're wrong about Snape and he turns out to be Saruman?

I think Snape is more like Vader - turns out good in the end!

I cnt c that happening somehow.

Theres alot more going on in his head than jkr tells us. Snape is a hard one to crack. I personally think he is evil but thats jus me (although my bestfriend is sitting here beside yapping about him being good) we'll just have to c wat happens in book 7................

Laura: I think that JK killed Dumbledore off cause she seen the actor who is now playen him! lol. oj (i dnt agree btw)

(that was my crazy friend's contribution)

I think DD was killed off so J.K.R could clear the playing field so Harry can die.

I prefer to think he died to save Malfoy, which sort of puts Malfoy in a life-debt situation like Wormtail...

Harry's going to need all of those he can get :-? .

I think dumbledore is alive. My reason for him surviving AK is highly unlikely, but with LV, you never can tell.Since Voldemort is afraid of death, he probably knew whoever drank the potion would be onto him and his horcruxes, right? He wasn't stupid.....I'll give him that much. Anyways, he might have found a way to fix up the potion so that the drinker would be protected from killing curses, but die from a very slow, painful death. With this dude, I wouldn't be shocked. As for the fall, I thought about it and I had an idea. What if DD knew a spell to create some kind of solid dummy of himself?Plus, Hagrid was the only one who touched the body, so you have to take that into account...And that was my two bits

Okay, LV wouldn't do that because if someone had reached his horcrux, he would be afraid of them, and just want them dead before they can destroy his horcrux. He only tortures those he considers weaker than him.

Yeah I've already said this, but it got deleted, soooooooooo...

His portrait, and the Fawkes' lament... That's all I'm going to say about the first post before, and for you Asphodel:

Of course he only tortures those weaker than him, how on earth does he torture those stronger?

Well, I meant he can't fight those stronger than him. He can only torture those weaker. I think he has some security issues. Like if he had a wife he would constantly think she's cheating on him.

Err... I know what you mean... but that probably wasn't the best example to use... if he had a wife!

Hmm, I don't think he has some security issues. I think he's very secure being the most powerful wizard alive... I don't think of him as being particularly paranoid, he just wants to live forever with the ultimate power... no biggie. :o

Yep....definately no biggie..... But seriously, who in their right mind would marry that guy?!

But anyways, there's the point. If he thought they could destroy him, wouldn't he do anything to "stop" them? :???:

He's to cocky to think anyone can destroy him. But if you look at the fact that he tries to conceal the fact that he is afraid of darkness and dead things he seems pretty insecure.

Afraid of darkness and dead things.

Dead things he doesn't mind! It's himself being one of them that's the problem!
Darkness? Since when? :???:
