I thought the Yule Ball was a really good scene - but yeah they didn't need to put in the argument with Ron and Hermione. I thought the book version of that scene was a little better because it just seemed a little over-acted. I did like the bits with Neville though (him practising dancing and coming home later than everyone else!)

I missed the Blast-Ended Skrewts..

That year in Hogwarts, seemed to be pretty watered down, one moment it was the Yule Ball, the next it was already spring. Besides, I thought that it was during the Yule Ball that Kharkarov told Snape that his death mark was swirling or showing...

Yeah, and Emma Watson was acting to girly. She took off her shoes after the Yule Ball?!?!?!? I think that girl is more fit for a role in "Mean Girls" or something of the like.

Took off her shoes? I'm not sure I catch the drift here. From expereince a lot of girls take off their shoes, during the dance, mainly because their shoes are not as comfortable as they look nice.

I know, but I remember reading that it was supposed to be a comical moment, she took of her shoes, and it wasn't Ron that was bugging her, it was the shoes. Of course, they didn't pull it off well, to say the least.

Not really a mistake but why does Crouch look like Adolf Hitler, similar moustache, hair to the left, the evil looking face. :???:

I though Karkaroff was supposed to display an evil attitude. I thought he looked rather scared in the movies... :)

There was also a scene with Karkaroff going into the room with the Goblet. What were they trying to say with that? Were they trying to put us off the scent to make us think Karkaroff put Harry's name in the GoF? It didn't come across that way.

Well, Karkaroff is all scared cause LV might come back. I actually think he wasn't portrayed as being scared enough

I was thinking before he knew about LV's return. When he arrived with his students and so on. I always pictured him as full of himself and dispising everyone around him. Showing off and thinking too high of himself.
