Hey folks

I was in the bookstore the other day and came across a really
amusing book. BARRY TROTTER AND THE UNAUTHORIZED
PARODY. The author writes for SNL and it is brilliant. Join Barry
as he and his trusty friends Lon Measley and Ermine Cringer
try to stop Hollywood and Lord Valumart from making a movie
of his misadventures at Hogwash Academy. Their plot: Kidnap
JG Rollins and keep her from writing anymore. Quite entertaining
and I'm sure Daniel, JK et al get a chuckle out of this.

There's two as far as I'm aware, BT and the Shameless Parody and BT and Unecessary Sequel.

I've read both but I didn't find them very good to be honest.

I haven't heard of these either, maybe I'm just oblivious to the fact they are actually here, but I'm too blind to find them, lol...

I've got "The Unnecessary Sequel", and I read of bit of "The Dead Horse" in the store, but it wasn't good enough to make me think about buying it.

maybe i should also mention some other then

the parody of star wars: star warped by adam robert (or a3r robert, like the bookcover said)
this is, in my opinion even worse, i stopped after chapter 2 and i don't understand why my friend thinks it's great. maybe because he's a star wars-fanatic?

lord of the rings: bored of the rings by harvard lampoon
the silmarillion: the sillymarillion by d.r. lloyd

these two i haven't read so i have no idea

Theres also the sellamillion, and the matewix

And actually star warped gets better after the first few chapters, I thought it was bad at first, but it improves.

Well, your probably best trying the internet, I dont think many of these books are found in romania, in england they are found in the comedy section though.

Barry Trotter only drew a slight chuckle from me. I only read one: Barry Trotter and the Unauthorized Parody. Frankly, I didn't like it.

It's a book you might get a slightm chuckle from, ubt apart from the it's a complete waste of time when there are lots of better things you could be doing.
