Err no it wasn't actually raining at the ball but it had been a bit wet earlier...after ceilidh dancing and drinking at the meal and at the dance when we tried to find the photo place we had to go up a grassy slope and I did my usual of walking on the front of my dress so it got wet on the grass...a shame...should have got the photos taken before the ceilidh dancing.

Scottish ball....dances based on Scottish Country Dancing and ball dances designed to be danced while drunk.....you do some in couples like waltzes and barn dances and you do some in sets of 4, 6 or 8 people like the eightsome reel or Strip the Willow....
