Not sure if this goes here or elsewhere but.

On the England printing with the adult cover there's a picture of JKR on the back. Behind her is a bookshelf with such thngs as Freud, Agatha Christies, an American Atlas, and one buck that I can see that is upside down. That upside down book is by Phillip Pullman. Pullmans books have been described thus: " ... a number of other books, purportedly for children, but attracting increasing attention by adult readers." and "Like the Harry Potter books, the His Dark Materials books have been at the heart of controversy, especially with certain fundamentalist Christian groups." (From a wikipedia.)

One of his books is "I was a rat!"

Am I on to something here?

I have absolutely no idea Bextra. I'd never heard of Phillip Pullman until I noticed his book on the back cover photo :) Haven't gotten to the library yet either to try and borrow one.

With JKR you never know. But there is a wall of books in my room and a cursory count shows at least six of them upside down.
