May it be far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far far better than the last 3...........
I don't really think it's the famous actors playing roles in it that keeps it afloat. I mean, Maggie Smith & John Cleese can only do so much. I think it's just all the children that have read the books that want to go and see the movie, and drag their parents along with them, that make profit for the film.
In my mind, the only way the films can ever be good, is to bring Peeves into the picture.

i would agree that the only thing that saves it from complete disgrace is the peripheral characters' acting. but for the 3 main characeters to be so bad it does make a joke of the whole thing. and yes i do agree that danial radcliffe has improved since the 1st one. like you said him trying to express fear was woeful. but another hurdle and expression he will have to learn to express is ANGER cos his attempts at teen angst, outrage and anger were funny and then sickening. and 3 times you watched it? wow, you must have stamina, worse than chinese water torture.

and unfortunatly they could have three monkeys scratching each other's backs for 3 hours, slap a title of 'harry potter and the goblet of fire' on it and the crowds would still line the streets to hand over good money for the pleasure of watching it. and some of them might even enjoy it. people only overlook the terrible quality of the films, acting etc because of their affection for the books.

I donno i liked the movie because it was hp but i didn't like the fact that they never wore their robes. and how the movie was based all in the one day they just skipped all the minor parts.

I believe that in the books they wear their robes to every class and feast and everything, but they don't have to in the weekends and holidays. Remember at the burrow Harry and the Weasleys always dressed in muggle clothing. Only Arthur and Molly didn't.

i agree partially. i thought it was allowed for them to wear muggle clothes, but i really dont think hermione would dress like that... so... i thought that part was kind of off...

Ahh yeah... Remembering that the Hary Potter books are set around.. when? Early 1990s aren't they. Says on the HP Lexicon somewhere. And where on earth would Harry have gotten such up-to-date labels! He is supposed to be living with the Dursleys.

harry's clothes weren't baggy at all. His clothes almost fit him perfect which was stupid coz dudley is alot larger than harry
