it is a great film about WWII. it is a little complicated if you are under 11 or so though... i wouldn't reccomend anyone under twelwe to watch it. It is sad, but good, and funny at the same time.

not so gorey(sp?), but does show people going into the "showers", and some people get shot...

That's a beautiful film, full of love in the times of war, and very touching. I loved how the father was covering the war and camp with plays, so that his son wouldn't be scared.

It was one of the few movies that actually made me cry. A really amazing piece of work.

i haven't seen it, but i might try watching it! How much blood is shown in the scenes where people get shot? I get a bit squeamish in some of the seens where blood is involved.

Hm, I don't remember... It doesn't focus that much on blood, it's more about the father/son relationship and how the father does everything to protect his son, e.g. turning the life in camp into a game.

I SAW IT 3 TIMES! I LOVED IT!
though I really wondered if it happened..you never know!
---What was the kid's reaction when he realized he didn't get to keep the tank and his dad is dead?...aww...i feel bad!
