yeh, jk has said somwhere that books 6&7 are almost one book in two parts, so that might explain why not many new people will be introduced.

however, book 7 will include harry losing DD, not book 6. i wont start this argument here, im already arguing about it elsewhere.

on topic now, i think that basically the entire of the OotP will reappear, and probably Blais Zabini as well. he was mentioned once, but jk had quite a few notes on him, so i think he will come back. also, i hope for some info about aberforth. what on earth does he do for the OotP? he was in the old one, but moody said that was the only time he ever saw him. what mission does he accomplish? thats what i want to know. i like the idea of the bones family. they lost people to LV, so they might join the OotP as well.

Grawp i think is confirmed by jk, and he is going to be a bit more tolerable. at least, he wont start grabbing hermy any longer, i hope. he'd better not learn how to say hagrid tho. id hav to change my screen name

I have a feeling that at the very and of book 7 we'll meet a character who turns out very important but has only been mentioned briefly before.

I'd really like the Black sisters to (re-)appear. JKR said we were going to see something more of Narcissa, and I'd really like to meet Andromeda. She seems like a very strong woman to me. And more of her daughter, of course.

And, as mentioned before, I'm so curious what Aberforth is like, or how he and Albus would interact. :D I would be really angry at JKR if we didn't get to meet him.

Do you think we'll see Krum and Karkaroff again? Maybe Karkaroff will serve as an example of what happens whan the Dark Lord makes somebody 'pay'? Just imagine Snape's face if he learned about that....

I think Karkaroff might make a short reappearance, maybe in a prologue or something, which shows him being killed. Which leads us to Snape... if Karkaroff can be "persuaded" to tell. I'm sure he could have something interesting to say.

That would be interesting. Great idea for a fic, by the way. :D And Karkaroff probably wouldn't be quiet about Snape's loyalties...

I want to see Andromeda too as well as more of Narcissa. The Black sisters seem really interesting.

yeh. i can imagin harry interacting with the remaining relatives of sirius, aggressively and peacefully.

that would be a good scene. Karkaroff being punished, and flinging wild accusations at snape. LV would probably not believ K, but snape would be so nervous he might get suspicious... well, so is the life of a spy

i want to see Rita and Umbridge. they are 2 of the best evil characters ever!!!! :D i love the parts of the book with them.

I kind of want to see what Mr. Diggory will be doing now that Voldermort's back. I mean, he's got to be out for blood

i despise them too, but the main thing is they are amazing characters. Rita is brilliantly written, and so is Umbridge. and the good thing about them is that after they have had their say of being bad, they are always overcome. the way in which the students resist umbridge is amazing.

its like with snape. you dont like him, but he is still an amazing character, and makes the books very good. without Umbridge, for instance, the threat of the ministry would be very vague. she pushes it home. she is a stereotypical villian, and the best one i kno. sarcastic, simpering, little-girly. you just cant help hating her. and thats why she needs to come back. you need someone to hate. makes the books soo much better.

I think the only reason I'd want to see her come back is to see how far she's fallen. Fudge isn't going to stay minister of magic and without him, she's going to see major punishment for her actions. I want to see a fitting punishment, but I don't think there is a way to crush her spirit and make her admit that she deserves that

that would be interesting, to see how much she is punished. however, she seems pretty insane already, and if she was on trial, i think she might really be able to plead insanity.

seeing Amos would be cool. do you know where his name comes from? i think its this book in the bible called amos. its about this guy complaining and getting really annoyed with the authorites, and predicting the destruction of jerusalem. maybe that will have something to do with him?

som1 already said this, and ill say it again: seeing the families of the people killed by death eaters would be cool. it would be very interesting, and mayb they will want to join the OotP as well. i reckon the ranks will swell alot, thanks to the fact that everyone know that LV is back.

And all the old members of OoTP who didn't want to take part in it before, will now rejoin.

Um, nobody didn't want to fight... they're either crazy or dead, and I still doubt we'll see them

maybe not old members, but people from the ministry, who didn't believe DD the first time. lots of wizards and witches, now that they know LV is back, will want to help their families, and the OotP is a way of doing that.

i was reading alice 1's fan fic, and it talks about loads of people wanting to become Aurors. i think thats quite likely, cos crisises can bring out the best in people, as well as the worst. lots of the brave gryffindors will want to be Aurors, and ravenclaws, hufflepuffs etc might want to as well. slytherins who dont want to be death eaters might want to become aurors. not all slytherins are evil... maybe that will be a new character, a slytherin who is actually a nice person. pretty unique... apart from Tanuki of course
