A noticed mistake in goblet of fire already

Postby Karen » Sunday 13 November 2005 10:58:10pm

Anyone see the Dragon/golden egg challenge scene in the documentary on the new film on MTV last night?

One shot shows a clearly relieved Draco Malfoy as Harry avoids a near miss from the dragon?
he looks as relieved as you'd think Ron and Hermione would look

whats all that about?
there's nothing to suggest in any of the books that Malfoy is concerned about Harry or who wins the triwizard cup so I think its stupid for that to have even been suggested

Maybe he was scared of the dragon.
If a dragon breathed fire, and it missed someone, even someone I hate, not Voldemort mind you, I would also be relieved.

Yeah, but Draco isn't like that. You probably misinterpreted it.

Misinterpretation. There was probably something else happening at the same time that he was looking relieved about. I'll check it out during the movie, but I'll be surprised if I see anything.

What if it was just a mistake made by the guys who cut the movies at mtv... Maybe there are just 2 different scence who ended up one after another... Well I guess I'll just have to see the movie first :P

Yup, or maybe he's relieved that Krum got through or something.

I'd hardly call that a mistake. We don't really know if those two images are directly after one another. And maybe it's not a look of "relief", maybe it's surprise or shock at Harry's flying skills or something like that.

Keep an eye out for it on friday though, just in case it wasn't MTVs editing but a directorial/editing error

17th here. We already had previews on tuesday, and I'm working in a cinema, which means I got to see it for free...

Anyway, there are mistakes you can already see in the trailer. For example, on the gravestone that's supposed to be Voldemort's father's, there is the name 'Tom Marvolo Riddle'. Well, if Tom Marvolo Riddle was dead and buried, there wouldn't be a point to the series, would it?
