PROOF!!!

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Is it just me or do you only have to look at Black's forearm to see if he is a Dark wizard? I know it fades but they could check on thespot. It wasn't that long after the Dark Lord 'died'

I guess the thing is, if they thought Sirius only betrayed James and Lily but didn't actually pledge his allegiance to Voldemort, he wouldn't have a Dark Mark. I think you bring up a good point, though; of course, I admit that I'm biased. I love Sirius Black!

I've got another way to prove Sirius's innocence! If the Ministry gave him Veritiserum, (truth potion, for those who forgot) and asked him questions, then he'd be free, because they'd have to believe him! Doesn't that make sense?? Aren't the Ministry people prejudice idiots??

Maybe they wouldn't bother, as after all, a street full of people saw him 'blow up' PP.

No, the Dark Mark looks like a scar the rest of the time, if I recall correctly. It burns black when it's touched by Voldemort.

I think that it would probably fade, Voldie wouldn't want everyone knowing his supporters, right?
And Veritaserum doesn't work on insane people, so says Fudge. They all thought Sirius was insane.

I completely forgot about that! But if they had used it [i:xo48rx7l]before[/i:xo48rx7l] they put him in Azkaban, it would have worked! I guess everyone was just so desperate for a scapegoat that they didn't care. :cat:

The problem with prejudice these days. Black [i:7y9vd81d]could[/i:7y9vd81d] be sane, it is a possibility, you know. Just because he was insane about 12 years ago doesn't mean that he's never going to recover from that.

But nearly everyone imprisoned in Azkaban goes insane because of the dementors.

Well, remember when they captured him? He was sitting in the middle of the street laughng. They all thought he was mad.

And he said he didn't have a trial, so it didn't matter anyway.

Why didn't they use Veritaserum on Crouch Jr and other wizards, say, Malfoy, whose name "was cleared"? I think it's not the truth that matters for the Ministry, anyway.
