I have already mentioned somewhere that I was looking for any rumours or thoughts regarding book 5 and HP in general. What about you?

Like Sonkem, I was searching on a search engine for a HP forum. I found a few, but they were really crowded. Then, I stumbled across this one, and it looked perfect! not too crowded, but a little going on. I really liked it, and I probably visit this one the most.

Hey this is really interesting - keep going folks, how did you get here? I'm guessing a lot will be from search engines as there aren't too many links from other sites to Broomsticks And Owls yet, but it'll be intriguing to know which search engine you used.

Me too--my search engine is MSN and I was looking for a good Harry Potter Forum to go to, since I didn't like the one I was on at the moment. (They were really unfriendly and unneccessarily snippy whenever you accidentally slipped up.) And I scrolled down 'till I found 'Broomstick and Owls'. After I looked around on it for awhile, I was like--this is great! And I joined!

And I haven't regretted it since... :D

Luna told me about during school, and I was dieing to join an HP forum that was friendly and more than just roleplaying. I wanted to discuss my ideas and thoughts, and now I've got the chance to do it.

Normally, I avoid message boards in favour of chatrooms, but after searching for about a week, I could not find a *good* Harry Potter chatroom. So I turned to message boards. Looking through the hits on google, almost every board that showed up was either way too crowded (not my style) or littered with pop-ups. Then I found this place and (as everyone else is saying...) it looked perfect. Almost cozy. :D

Cool - unless it's totally unavoidable, there'll never be a pop-up here. I can't stand them either. You think you're going to get one page and whomph - another springs out at you. By the time you've visited a few pages your computer has been bombarded by pop-ups and you don't know where you are - yuck!
