OWL Results

I'm going to take it for granted that Hermione gets Outstanding in each of her OWLs, but what does everyone think Harry/Ron/Neville will get?

I think Harry and Ron will both fail Divination, or scrape a Pass at the most.

DADA - Harry O, Ron E, Neville O (I think Neville might be an auror)
Transfig - Harry E, Ron E, Neville P
Potions - Harry O, Ron P, Neville O (must get an O to do it for NEWTs, and I think Neville will spawn one)
History of Magic - Harry F, Ron P,
Care of magical creatures - Haryy O, Ron O
Divination - Harry F, Ron F/P
Astronomy - Harry P, Ron P
Herbology - Harry E, Ron E, Neville O

Lol... A is for Acceptabe, not awful! But you're right! How would he achieve either A or O, but not E (that's between A and O)

With the O or A, I was more thinking along the lines of whether he will do potions next year.
He needed a O to get in, which is slightly plauseable.
But JK doesn't give him the O, I think it would be more likely to get an A than a E.

With Snape's hatred of Harry, I think it's very unlikely he will have got an O on potions. In Ootp, at the end oh his potions exam, he felt that he hadn't done brilliantly, but with luck had avoided a fail.

Thats why I thought hE might get an acceptable, but I also think that he will do potions next year, the Snape/Harry conflict that happens in the potions class is needed I think.
Plus Harry wan'ts to be an auror, and I think that he will be mostly on track to do that, at least until the end of year 7

Harry's confidence in potions is really low since Snape has tormented him for five years during the lessons. This means that although he felt he did ok, he would not be able to properly gauge how well he did.

I have found in my many exams that unless you absolutely ace an exam it is quite difficult to estimate your grade. One of the toughest exams I did, I got 100% in. That just didn't make any sense.

ANyway, Harry must either get an O in potions or Dumbledore will have to force Snape to accept him - potentially widening the Snape-Potter conflict.

i agree with you aberforth! Grades are hard to judge if you don't like a subject etc.

like in my business studies test i though i would be lucky to get a C because i hated the teacher and the subject was extremely dull. However i got an A*. i was well chuffed and i think harry will be too with his results
